A Chinese woman, Yeon-wha who smuggled into Korea to follow her
"Korean Dream"and sells Chinese style noodle, and his husband, In-goo who is a
local bus driver, and another man who just steppedout from a jail, Tae-joo. They
all follow their dreams in their lives, but the hypocritical reality between
these three people crushes their dream and even the root of their everyday
living.
Yeon-wha is a normal housewife who has a good husband and two
children. She makes living by selling Chinese noodle in her little store. She
has a son who doesn't have an ability to fit in a society because he is
suffering from a down syndrome, but Yeon-wha is a very optimistic, and hard
working housewife.
However, a fatal bus accident of In-goo changes theirlives forever
in a very deep, dark way. In-goo became a human vegetable. Yeon-wha asks for
indemnity to the bus company but the bus company takes an advantage on her, and
she gets to pay all the compensation money for the passengers.... |
